If you don’t follow me on Instagram @morganification (which you totally should), you may have missed some outfit posts that didn’t make it to the blog. I promise I do wear clothes even when I don’t post about them here.
To prove this very point, I created a compilation of some of my favorite outfits that I’ve worn this summer that you maybe haven’t seen. Please enjoy.
This fist look is from an impromptu photoshoot that I had in my room. That’s all I have to say about that. The look: vintage levi’s shorts | hanes tank (diy) | modern nostalgia and cameo sisters designs necklaces.
This is a shameless mirror selfie to show off my new haircut and my favaorite artizia top. I sent this one to my mama. The look: levi’s jeans| aritzia tank | wildflower phone case | church & state and cameo sisters designs necklaces.
As the looks in this post indicate, in the summer time, I tend to gravitate towards one of two outfits: a denim bottom paired with a simple top or a sundress paired with either sneakers or sandals. I find that these outfits are the easiest to create and modify for any occasion. To take a denim bottom and simple top combo from day to night, just switch out your sneakers for heels and accessorize with dangly earrings and an evening bag. Sundresses require even less work; going from day to night is as simple as adding a touch of lipstick.
Clubbing at The Blond on Howard Street. The party was okay; just okay. The look however, was fire. The look: reformation dress | nike air force 1s
Sunbathing in Sheep’s Meadow, Central Park. The look: target bikini| thrifted sunglasses
Strolling (and posing) in Washington Square Park. The look: carmar denim jeans | brandy melville tank| gap button down | nike air force 1s | vintage coach shoulder bag
Cheesing somewhere in the East Village. This dress has got to be one of my favorite pieces that I’ve purchased this summer. The look: reformation mini dress | dr. martens sandals | h&m hat | j. crew earrings | matt & nat backpack
I wore this look to see a good friend of mine perform with a contemporary dance company. The look: lulu lemon trouser | aritzia blouse | michael kors fanny pack | nike air force 1s | j. crew earrrings | f 21 glasses
Taking selfies at the Glossier showroom with my bestie Rachel. The look: brandy melville tank | a&f jeans | church & state and cameo sisters designs necklaces
Rachel’s Look: zara jean shorts | zara top | dog earred necklace
